Arbitrary file overwrite via unchecked tar extraction

Path traversal in ONNX 1.16.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite user files through a malicious model tar archive. The download_model function passes archive members directly to tarfile.extractall without checking that resolved paths remain inside the destination directory. An application must invoke the function on an attacker-controlled archive; writes inherit the process's filesystem permissions and can enable code execution.
