Unauthenticated file upload via form-field type confusion
Published Sep 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Artbees Jupiter X Core 4.6.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files through public forms. The upload handler accepts a file keyed to any registered form field without verifying that the field is declared as a file input, bypassing File::validate. A site must expose a Jupiter X form with file upload enabled; no authentication or user interaction is required, and executable uploads allow remote code execution.
