Administrator SQL injection via unsanitized adStatus parameter
Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
SQL injection in Eric Hamby's Adicon Server WordPress plugin 1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The settings page inserts the adStatus parameter into a SQL statement without sanitization or escaping, and a nested SELECT produces a measurable database delay. WordPress administrator access is required; successful injection permits attacker-chosen SQL operations with the site's database privileges.
