Authentication bypass in Progress WhatsUp Gold before 2024.0.0 allows remote attackers to obtain encrypted user credentials. The getReport method exposes reporting functionality without authentication or authorization, permitting retrieval of stored credentials. No account or user interaction is required, and the disclosed encrypted credentials can support further compromise.
