Cross-origin endpoint access via wildcard CORS
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
CSRF in Aim 3.22.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to issue cross-origin requests to every tracking-server endpoint. The tracking server's CORS policy accepts every Origin value, authorizing browser requests from untrusted sites across all methods and endpoints. Exploitation requires a user who can reach the server to visit attacker-controlled content; resulting requests can expose data or trigger chained endpoint flaws.
