Authenticated database-query manipulation via unneutralized user_name input
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024
SQL injection in Clinic's Patient Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through user_name. The ajax/check_medicine_name.php handler places the user_name value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid system account is required; query manipulation exposes or changes database records and disrupts database-backed operations.
