Unauthenticated file disclosure via exposed user_images directory
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Forced browsing in SourceCodester Clinic's Patient Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read files in /user_images/. The web server exposes the /pms/user_images/ directory to direct URL requests without enforcing the application's normal login gate. No credentials or user interaction are required, and the published proof of concept establishes unauthorized access to that directory but not broader filesystem traversal.
