Missing JTAG access control in Kioxia CM6, PM6, and PM7 SSDs allows physically proximate attackers to execute firmware code. The TC58NC1132GTC controller leaves the JTAG debug path to two Cortex-R5 cores accessible through the circuit-board cutout without authenticating access, exposing firmware and memory for reading or modification. Temporary physical possession and a JTAG probe are required; persistent modified firmware additionally requires the shared MAC secret, while code execution and signature-check bypass do not.
