Traffic spoofing via unauthenticated tunnel decapsulation

Source-validation failure in IETF Generic UDP Encapsulation GUE-09 allows remote attackers to route spoofed traffic through exposed tunnels. The draft directs a decapsulator to validate GUE header fields, strip the UDP and GUE headers, and resubmit the inner packet, but does not require authentication or validation of its source. An Internet-reachable implementation that accepts such packets can act as a one-way proxy, bypass network access controls, or amplify denial-of-service traffic.
