CVE-2024-7593Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated administrator creation via flawed authentication algorithm

Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Authentication bypass in Ivanti Virtual Traffic Manager allows remote attackers to create administrator accounts through its management interface. The admin panel uses an incorrectly implemented authentication algorithm and consequently accepts account-creation operations without valid credentials. Exposure of the management interface is required; successful exploitation grants administrative control over traffic-management configuration.
