Unauthenticated command execution via login POST fields
Published Sep 5, 2024 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
OS command injection in Progress LoadMaster and Multi-Tenant LoadMaster allows remote attackers to execute commands through the management WUI. The /progs/status/login handler passes crafted POST fields through pass_read into eval; marker-delimited input bypasses Base64 encoding and escapes the assignment context. Network access to the management interface is required, and successful injection runs arbitrary commands as the local bal user on LoadMaster 7.2.40.0 through 7.2.60.0 and Multi-Tenant LoadMaster 7.1.35.4 through 7.1.35.11.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
