Buffer overflow in Tenda i22 1.0.0.3(4687) allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through crafted portal credentials. The formApPortalWebAuth handler for /goform/apPortalAuth copies attacker-controlled webUserName or webUserPassword data without enforcing the destination buffer capacity. Successful exploitation grants control of the device, while NIST and VulDB disagree on whether prior authentication is required.
