Private post-title disclosure via unchecked query arguments
Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Argument injection in Relevanssi Live Ajax Search 2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read private post titles via AJAX. The search function accepts attacker-controlled POST fields as WP_Query arguments without restricting them to the intended search parameters. The public search action requires no authentication, and disclosure occurs with the default WordPress search rather than Relevanssi.
