CVE-2024-7557Network attack vector

Cross-model access via overprivileged ServiceAccount role binding

Published Aug 8, 2024 · Updated Mar 19, 2026

Authentication bypass in Red Hat OpenShift AI allows remote authenticated users to access other models and namespace resources. The dashboard's token-auth setup binds model ServiceAccounts to the broad view ClusterRole, so a token displayed for one model authorizes other models and APIs in the namespace. A user who can view one protected model's token can reuse it for cross-model inference and elevated read access within that namespace.
