Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
Stored XSS in MissionMike DT’s Simple Share 0.5.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The settings panel stores the Email subject, Email body, Twitter @Via, and Twitter hashtag fields without sanitizing or escaping them before output. Administrator-level access is required to save a payload, and execution requires another user to view affected plugin content.
