Arbitrary file read via Twig source traversal
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Path traversal in Juzaweb CMS 3.4.0 through 3.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through Theme Editor. The editor accepts Twig template content and lets Twig's source function resolve traversal sequences without restricting the requested file path. Administrator access is required, and the demonstrated payload reads /etc/passwd; the published analysis found no route to arbitrary code execution.
