Command injection in Brocade Fabric OS before 9.2.0c and 9.2.1 through 9.2.1a allows local users to escalate privileges via portcfg. Broadcom identifies crafted portcfg input as the injection path but does not disclose the affected argument or missing validation operation. Exploitation requires an SSH or serial-console login on a 7810, 7840, or 7850 switch, or an X6 or X7 director with an SX-6 Extension blade, and grants elevated command execution.
