Authenticated code execution via unchecked logo upload
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in itsourcecode.com Tailoring Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. In setlogo.php, line 51 passes the bgimg entry from $_FILES directly to the upload destination without validating its filename, extension, content type, or path. A regular user session can place a PHP file in img/part and request it over HTTP, causing command execution under the web server account.
