Code execution via insufficient upload type validation
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in CRM Perks Forms 1.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place dangerous files on the server. The handle_uploaded_files function accepts uploads without adequately rejecting dangerous file types, permitting server-side payloads to be stored. Administrator-level capabilities are required, and successful placement of executable content grants code execution in the WordPress server context.
