Cross-tenant record access via unchecked user IDs
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
An IDOR in Lunary before 1.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to view or delete external-user records through crafted request URLs. The external-user API accepts a caller-controlled id parameter and accesses the referenced record without verifying organizational ownership. Any account that can reach these endpoints can cross tenant boundaries, exposing external-user data or permanently removing the selected record.
