Cross-user prompt overwrite via unchecked dataset identifier
Published Oct 29, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2024
IDOR in Lunary before 1.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite other users' prompts through the Evaluations API. The umgws datasets Evaluations handler trusts a caller-controlled id parameter and updates the referenced prompt without verifying that it belongs to the requesting user. Any authenticated account can target another user's prompt identifier, changing stored prompt content without access to that user's account.
