CVE-2024-7464Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via telnet_enabled injection

Published Aug 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

OS command injection in the CP900 6.3c.566 Telnet Service allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via telnet_enabled. The setTelnetCfg function accepts this parameter without neutralizing command syntax before command execution. The CNA requires low privileges, while NVD assesses no privileges; either path permits arbitrary command execution on the appliance.
