Forced password change via tokenless update request
Published Aug 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Warehouse Inventory System 1.0 and 2.0 allows remote attackers to change a logged-in user's password. change_password.php processes a state-changing POST without an anti-CSRF token or origin check, then updates the submitted account ID. Exploitation requires a logged-in victim and that victim's current password; success replaces the selected account's password and ends the session.
