SQL injection in Placement Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries through view_company.php. The page uses the GET id parameter in a database query without adequate filtering, allowing crafted SQL syntax to alter the query. A valid login is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates time-based blind query execution through a MySQL SLEEP call.
