Database data exposure via unfiltered id parameter
Published Aug 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
SQL injection in apply_now.php in itsourcecode.com Placement Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate SQL queries. The page passes the insufficiently filtered GET id value into a database query, so SQL syntax in that value changes the statement executed by MySQL. An authenticated account is required; the published time-delay and UNION payloads demonstrate query control and database-data extraction.
