Authorization bypass in Simple Machines Forum 2.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' alerts via a crafted aid value. The alert-removal handler accepts the aid resource identifier without binding the referenced alert to its owning user. Any forum account with access to the alerts page can target an alert belonging to another user, causing limited stored-data loss.
