Settings modification via missing multisite nonce check
Published Aug 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Theme My Login 7.1.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify multisite settings via a forged request. Missing nonce validation in tml_admin_save_ms_settings() permits storage of attacker-controlled multisite settings. Exploitation requires submission through an authenticated network administrator's browser after interaction with attacker-controlled content; the reported consequence is unauthorized settings modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
