Local privilege escalation via junction-following file deletion

Privilege escalation in ESET products for Windows with Cleaner module 1250 and earlier allows local users to delete protected files. During removal of a detected file, the Cleaner module performs a privileged file operation through a Windows junction or mount point without safely resolving the destination. A low-privileged local user must influence that filesystem path; successful exploitation can delete files outside the user's permissions and obtain elevated privileges.
