CVE-2024-7392

Service interruption via Bluetooth connection-slot exhaustion

Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Denial of service in ChargePoint Home Flex 5.5.3.13 allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt charging through Bluetooth Low Energy. The Bluetooth Low Energy connection handler limits the active-connection pool, so an attacker can occupy all available slots. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the attacker must be within Bluetooth range; the documented consequence is service interruption.
