Unauthenticated testimonial reordering via missing capability check
Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Stark Digital WP Testimonial Widget 3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to change testimonial ordering. The fnSaveTestimonailOrder function processes an unauthenticated order-change request without checking the required WordPress capability. A network-reachable WordPress site with the plugin active exposes an integrity-only change to testimonial presentation.
