HubSpot API key disclosure via hard-coded credentials
Published Aug 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in WPMU DEV Forminator 1.29.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to extract a HubSpot developer API key. The HubSpot API wrapper hard-codes shared developer credentials in class-forminator-addon-hubspot-wp-api.php, leaving the key recoverable from distributed plugin source. The HubSpot integration must be in use for customer data exposure; the recovered key grants access to alter integration settings or read personally identifiable information.
