Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized answer ID
Published Aug 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple Realtime Quiz System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate SQL queries via a crafted id. The load_answered action in ajax.php processes the attacker-controlled id argument without neutralizing SQL syntax before database interpretation. A valid low-privilege session is required; successful injection can read or alter application data and interrupt database-backed quiz operations.
