Authenticated database query manipulation via establishment identifier
Published Aug 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Tracking/Monitoring Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The /ajax.php?action=save_establishment handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax supplied through the id argument before it reaches an SQL command. Access to the authenticated establishment-management workflow is required, and successful injection alters queries within the application's database privileges.
