Insecure temporary-file permissions in Point B Ltd Getscreen Agent 2.19.6 allow local users to gain SYSTEM privileges during MSI installation. The getscreen.msi package drops getscreen.exe and getscreen-x86.exe into a low-privileged user temp directory, then msiexec processes those replaceable files with SYSTEM integrity. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and a concurrent installation; substituting either executable causes attacker-controlled code to run as SYSTEM.
