Conditional code execution via job-application deserialization
Published Aug 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in PressTigers Simple Job Board 2.12.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to instantiate PHP objects. The job-application editing path passes attacker-controlled application metadata to maybe_unserialize, creating an object from serialized input. Editor-level access is required, and file deletion, sensitive-data access, or code execution additionally requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.
