CVE-2024-7345

Unauthenticated code injection via direct agent connections

Published Sep 3, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024

Code injection in Progress OpenEdge PASOE Multi-Session Agents allows attackers to execute ABL code through direct client connections. The local ABL client path connects directly to an agent listener and bypasses the PASOE Tomcat security checks that normally mediate requests. Reachability requires an active PASOE Tomcat server plus local or adjacent access to an ABL client on its host; successful injection runs inside the agent process.
