CVE-2024-7337Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Memory corruption via oversized http_host parameter

Published Aug 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK EX1200L 9.3.5u.6146_B20201023 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via HTTP. The loginauth function in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi copies an oversized http_host parameter without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. Access to the device's web interface and low-privileged authentication are required, and successful exploitation can compromise device confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
