Database manipulation via decoded nickName SQL injection
Published Jul 31, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Xinhu RockOA 2.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through the nickName parameter. The dataAction method base64-decodes nickName and passes it in an update array to db->record(), which concatenates the value into an SQL statement. Exploitation requires low-privileged access; the open API enforces an openkey outside private host values, and successful injection compromises database confidentiality and integrity.
