CVE-2024-7322Network attack vector

Network denial of service via unsolicited rejoin response

Published Jan 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 20, 2026

DoS in Silicon Labs EmberZNet before 7.3.3, 7.4.0 through 7.4.3, and before 8.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt Zigbee networks. The stack accepts an unsolicited encrypted rejoin response without properly verifying its source and changes the coordinator, router, or end device's node ID. The sender needs high Zigbee network privileges to create the encrypted response, and recovery requires re-establishing the network.
