Authenticated database inference via unsanitized team parameter
Published Jul 31, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode.com Alton Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data via the team parameter. The /admin/team_save.php endpoint inadequately filters the POST parameter, allowing crafted SQL with a time-delay expression to alter the database query. Exploitation requires a backend login with high privileges, and the demonstrated consequence is blind data inference through response timing.
