Authenticated database query execution via unfiltered member names
Published Jul 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in /admin/member_save.php in itsourcecode.com Alton Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries. The endpoint accepts the POST parameters first and last with lax filtering, allowing quote-delimited time-based blind payloads to invoke MySQL SLEEP. Administrator authentication is required; the demonstrated payload establishes a database timing oracle, while broader data access or modification has not been publicly demonstrated.
