Authenticated SQL injection via unfiltered rcode parameter
Published Jul 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in search.php in itsourcecode.com Alton Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL queries. The page passes the POST rcode value into a database query with insufficient filtering, so quote characters can append a time-based MySQL SLEEP expression. A low-privileged session can use the resulting delay oracle to test injected conditions and infer database information.
