Code execution via attacker-controlled DLL path
Published Aug 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Path traversal in Kingsoft WPS Office 12.2.0.13110 through builds before 12.2.0.16412 on Windows allows attackers to execute code via a crafted link. qingbangong.dll decodes the hyperlink's JSCefServicePath value, and ksojscore.dll passes the attacker-controlled relative path to Qt's QLibrary::load without restricting it to the WPS directory. Execution requires a user to click a hidden ksoqing hyperlink in a deceptive spreadsheet, after which promecefpluginhost.exe loads the attacker's DLL at the user's privilege level.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
