Unauthenticated OS command execution via crafted cookie
Published Sep 3, 2024 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
OS command injection in Zyxel appliance firmware allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through a crafted cookie sent to the CGI program. The CGI program fails to neutralize special elements in the cookie-supplied host parameter before using it in an OS command. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; affected releases include NWA1123ACv3 6.70(ABVT.4) and earlier, WAC500 6.70(ABVS.4) and earlier, WAX655E 7.00(ACDO.1) and earlier, WBE530 7.00(ACLE.1) and earlier, and USG LITE 60AX V2.00(ACIP.2).

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=7.00\(ACLE.1\)
