Link following in Comodo Internet Security Pro 12.2.4.8032 allows local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM. The cmdagent executable follows an attacker-created symbolic link when creating a file, allowing its privileged file operation to be redirected. Exploitation requires prior low-privileged code execution on the endpoint and yields SYSTEM-context code execution.
