CVE-2024-7211Network attack vector

Phishing redirection via faulty local-URL validation

Published Aug 1, 2024 · Updated Jun 18, 2025

Open redirect in 1E Platform 24.7, 23.11.1.15, 23.7.1.80, and 8.4.1.229 allows remote attackers to redirect users to untrusted sites. IdentityServer local-URL checks accept crafted nonlocal URLs, so login, challenge, consent, and account-creation flows can issue external redirects. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted URL and a browser to honor the redirect; the flaw supports phishing but does not directly expose credentials or tokens.
