TLS interception and cloning via extractable firmware

Firmware extraction in SONOFF Zigbee Bridge Pro 2.0.0 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to obtain device secrets. An exposed serial interface permits firmware export; the image contains reusable secrets and a replaceable pinned certificate, and accepts repackaged modified firmware. Exploitation requires disassembly and a serial connection, after which the modified certificate enables interception of device-to-cloud TLS traffic and device cloning.
