CVE-2024-7181Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via telnet_enabled injection

Published Jul 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Command injection in TOTOLINK A3600R 4.1.2cu.5182_B20201102 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via telnet_enabled. The setTelnetCfg handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi uses the parameter in a command context without neutralizing command syntax. Access to the management endpoint is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the router service's privileges and can alter device behavior.
