Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized id parameter
Published Jul 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in manage_user.php in SourceCodester School Fees Payment System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The endpoint incorporates the id request parameter into a SQL statement without neutralizing SQL metacharacters, allowing crafted input to change the query structure. A valid low-privilege session is required; successful injection permits reading or modifying application database data and can interrupt database-backed operations.
