CVE-2024-7154Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated password reset via exposed setup wizard

Published Jul 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Improper access control in TOTOLINK A3700R 9.1.2u.5822_B20200513 allows remote attackers to reset device passwords without authentication. The /wizard.html and /phone/wizard.html pages expose the setup workflow directly without enforcing an authenticated session before accepting password changes. Network access to the management interface is sufficient to replace several critical passwords and obtain administrative access.
